Hello. Sixth & I worked on this record over the course of 2021 & 2022- him slaving away late at night at his computer in Ontario and me frantically recording vocal track after vocal track in my basement -and decaying Honda Civic- down in Maryland. While ambiguous and somewhat left open to interpretation, 'The Hill' focuses on two brothers dealing with death and grief. This was an extraordinarily fulfilling journey and I'm so happy to finally share it with all of you. Sixth is not only an old friend but also a massively talented creator and it's always so refreshing to make music with somebody so original and passionate about making a meaningful piece of art. I sincerely hope you choose to purchase the record here on Bandcamp, if you do so we'll keep 85% of what you choose to pay (rather than making nothing off streaming).
